Avontuur
The Avontuur is an historic Zeeland two-masted sail clipper from 1914. The clipper was one of the largest sailing canal boats of its time. The captain still fully depended on hand and wind power. Therefore the Avontuur is a monument, also because it is the only remaining boat of its kind.
The Avontuur was restored to its orginal state on the outside to the extent possible. The cargo space was converted into a modern comfortable lounge. The Avontuur may be hired by groups (with crew) for one-day sailing trips, for a weekend, a week or even for longer periods. On board is a kitchen, bar and other modern comforts.
Practical: The Avontuur is moored in Goes and may be hired by groups for a trip on the Delta waters. Recommended price: from €1,280 (day) to €4,300 (week).
